Terms & conditions Horse Riding Holiday Camp
Useful information:
Each session lasts 7 days and is aimed at children and young people aged 6 to 18. Participants (max. 18 participants) will be accompanied by one or more team monitors throughout the day. Teams will be formed at a ratio of one adult (instructor) for every six participants. Each session will also have a coordinator, who will be responsible for organising all activities and supervising the group of participants at all times throughout the day. The programme may be subject to change due to external factors (unavailability of activities, weather conditions, transport delays, among others), and may be cancelled if there are fewer than 6 registrations, up to 2 weeks before the scheduled start date. It is strictly forbidden to bring alcohol or drugs, and participants who do not comply with this rule will be automatically asked to leave the Camp, without the right to any monetary refund.
Timetable:
Parents and participants can contact each other daily between 7:00 pm and 8:30 pm. This contact can be made directly with the participant or through the camp coordinator. The camp coordinator's contact details will be provided at the beginning of the camp.
Meals:
Participants are entitled to four meals a day: breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack and dinner. If you have any specific dietary requirements, please let us know in advance so that we can cater for your needs.
Medication and emergencies:
All members of the teaching team are trained in basic first aid, so they can intervene in the event of minor injuries. In cases requiring more extensive care, participants will be referred to the Alcácer do Sal Health Centre or Emergency Room. All medications, illnesses or disabilities must be reported in advance so that we can take the appropriate action and be aware of all the necessary precautions. During the holiday camp, the Coordinator may be responsible for the participant's medication, which must be handed over to the Coordinator at the beginning of the camp.
